History of the hotel

Created in 2006 by Hervé and Florence Audinet from five abandoned and ruined 12th century houses of the  rue des Francs Garçons (Franc Boys Street) in the medieval village of St Sauvant. These houses all joined together have created a very unique and definitely atypical design.

Why " Les Francs Garçons " ? The Hotel Francs Garçons is located at the corner of the street Francs Garçons... This name comes from the Middle Ages, a period in which the village of Saint-Sauvant residents…

The design

The old building has not been altered externally. It has kept its stronghold allure... Inside, a set of levels, stairs and cascades of multicolored lights enliven the spaces.
